Description:
This is a 1969 911t, which was the first year for the long wheel-base. It has a 2.0l 6 cylinder engine.
Brakes:
Approximately 500 miles on a complete redo of the original brakes. New pads, rotors, and calipers were rebuilt.
Tires:
Seller told me that he had just purchased them so I would estimate them having around 3,000 miles on them.
Engine:
Dual Weber Carburetors were rebuilt. It has new plugs, good used set of wires, new cap, rotor, points, coil, condenser, and some oil lines were replaced. The engine was painted/detailed when it was removed. Just replaced both batteries with 2 new ones. Heat exchangers and muffler were both replaced with good used pieces. New engine compartment insulation and seals. New fuel pump, pressure regulator and fuel filter.
Transmission:
Rebuilt and now has approximately 500 miles. Still stiff shifting into 1st and 2nd because of the new gears and syncro’s. New flywheel, & pressure plate and clutch is still in very good condition. New shifter bushings.
Interior:
Front seats removed/sanded/painted/recovered, rear seat bottoms replaced with good used pieces, Good used dash with only one very minor defect (not an original with the speaker hole), replaced ignition switch and re-keyed door locks to match, replaced hazard switch, has original headliner, have a Becker Europa stereo that needs repaired but a descent stereo and speakers are working in the car. Completely new carpet kit installed and any vinyl pieces that we bad were recovered. New pedal board on driver side and good used pedal board installed on passenger side. Needs two door pockets.
Exterior:
Stripped to bare metal and repainted back to original color, every body seal replaced with new, and every window seal replaced with new. New deco trim moldings on both sides. Looks really good.
Body:
Rear pan replaced, front suspension supports cut out and replaced, new gas tank installed. Windshield washer sprayers replaced. New antenna. Undercoating sprayed on bottom of the pan. New joint boots. New rear shocks. Couple bad spots on the battery boxes were patched up.
Windows:
Rear defrost electrical switch works and power goes to the back window, but the window installers we not able to make the connection to the glass. Front glass has slight white “frosting” on the bottom. Passenger side window has 2 half dollar spots where the sand blaster hit the glass. New seals on all windows when they were installed.
OVERALL in excellent condition for a 41 year old 911
